General
Okay2stay (“Okay2stay”, “we”, “us”) is a New Zealand business and these terms and conditions are governed by New Zealand Law. Okay2stay reserves its rights to alter the content of this site at any time. These terms and conditions govern your use of this website; by using this website you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use this website.
Terms of Service
Okay2stay offers its members access to its database of hosts for a fee. Access for a single subscription is valid for 1 year (365 days) from date of purchase. By signing up to become a paid-member of Okay2Stay, you will need to read and agree to abide by the Code of Conduct.
Hosts are businesses, producers, farms, etc who have an agreement with Okay2stay to allow Okay2stay members the opportunity to stay for one night on their grounds for free. Each host makes their own rules about parking, duration of stay, and amenities offered. You, as the motorhome traveller, are the private guest of any host you choose to stay with. Unless otherwise stated, the hosts included in Okay2stay do not make this offer available to the public.
It is important that members follow the Okay2stay Code of Conduct carefully, as hosts can report individual members to Okay2stay. If Okay2stay finds a reason, at their discretion, to cancel your membership earlier than your membership expiry date, then this may occur.
It is vital that, as a motorhome traveller, you have a SELF CONTAINED motorhome. Hosts are not campgrounds or motorhome parks and do not have, and are not obliged to provide, the facilities to deal with motorhome waste or provide you with running water, showers, or toilets. Okay2stay operators, hosts or their representatives are all entitled to request to see proof of your current, valid Okay2stay membership at any time.
Note that hosts who are listed in the "Pay2stay" category require a payment to be able to stay on their grounds. Any transaction of this nature will be between you as the motorhome traveller and the host. Okay2stay does not handle "Pay2stay" payments in any way, shape or form. Your membership fee cannot be transferred to a "Pay2stay" host.
Membership fees may change without warning at the discretion of Okay2stay. This may include sales, vouchers, discounts, guest passes, or price increases. Should you purchase a membership, it shall not be affected by any future price variations for the duration of your membership.
Registered Users
In order to access the database provided on this website, you must become a Registered User. You must complete registration by providing certain information as set out on our membership/registration page. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information relating to our collection, storage and use of the details you provide on registration.
You agree to ensure that your registration details are true and accurate at all times and you undertake to up-date your registration details from time to time when they change.
On registration, you will be prompted to create a password. Once registered, you will be able to use your password to access the database.
We reserve the right to terminate your registration at any time if you breach these Terms and Conditions.
Payment Terms
All prices are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST. The fee for access to the database is displayed on the Website and we reserve the right to amend the fee at any time.
Any fees, charges or taxes which may be payable as a result of your access to the database from outside New Zealand will be your responsibility.
Payment must be received in full prior to the database being made available.
Online payment must be by credit card. Okay2stay uses Stripe to handle all credit card and payment transactions.
Upon receipt of payment you will be granted a licence to access the database.
License to use website
Unless otherwise stated, Okay2stay and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website. Subject to the license below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved.
You may view and download for caching purposes only, pages from the website for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these terms and conditions.
Intellectual Property Rights
This website contains material which is owned by Okay2stay. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Except as permitted under the Copyright Act 1994, you are not permitted to copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or display any of the information on this website without our prior written permission.
Acceptable use
You must not use this website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the website; or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity.
You must not use this website to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of (or is linked to) any spyware, computer virus, Trojan horse, worm, keystroke logger, rootkit or other malicious computer software.
You must not conduct any systematic or automated data collection activities (including without limitation scraping, data mining, data extraction and data harvesting) on or in relation to this website without Okay2stay's express written consent.
You must not use this website to transmit or send unsolicited commercial communications.
You must not use this website for any purposes related to marketing without Okay2stay's express written consent.
Restricted member access
Access to certain areas of this website is restricted via login credentials. Okay2stay reserves the right to restrict access to other areas of this website, or indeed this entire website, at Okay2stay's discretion.
If Okay2stay provides you with a user ID and password to enable you to access restricted areas of this website or other content or services, you must ensure that the user ID and password are kept confidential.
Okay2stay may disable your user ID and password in Okay2stay's sole discretion without notice or explanation.
Refunds
Okay2stay endeavours to provide a high level of service to its members, however if you feel you have experienced a problem with the Okay2stay service please contact us directly at colleen@okay2stay.co.nz outlining your experience. Please provide a copy of your Stripe or Okay2stay receipts of purchase, or the name you have used to register with so we can verify your membership status when asking for a refund. We aim to process all requests within 2 business days (New Zealand local time). Refunds will only be permitted in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of Okay2stay.
No warranties
This website is provided "as is" without any representations or warranties, express or implied. Okay2stay makes no representations or warranties in relation to this website or the information and materials provided on this website.
Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing paragraph, Okay2stay does not warrant that:
this website will be constantly available, or available at all; or
the information on this website is complete, true, accurate or non-misleading; and
that any particular experience or holiday is guaranteed if you act upon the host information within this website.
The contents of this website are meant to constitute a guide to planning your holiday only, and you should always double check with any host prior to travelling to their site. Use common sense as a traveller.

We will ensure that all information you supply is held securely and cannot be accessed or used by unauthorised people. All reasonable steps are taken to ensure the information submitted is accurately stored.
Access to and Correction of Information
You have the right to view your personal details that we hold about you at any time and we will correct any incorrect information we hold about you. You may update and edit your account information at any time by logging in and visiting the My Account page. If you wish to delete your account please email colleen@okay2stay.co.nz.
At the end of each 1 year subscription period, your account will be deactivated but your account information may be stored indefinitely.
We may from time to time email you details of our services and news about Okay2stay which we think may be of interest to you. Each email sent will contain an “unsubscribe” link which you can use to stop receiving our emails in the future.
Disclosure of Information
We only disclose your information to third parties with your express consent or if required to do so by law.
Disposal of Information
We will securely dispose of information 10 years following the date of receipt if we are satisfied this is reasonable.
Cookies
This website uses cookies for the purpose of monitoring website usage. The cookies do not collect personal information. You can disable them or clear them out of the web browser you are using to view this website without affecting your ability to use the website.
To meet self-containment standards the vehicle must be able to be lived in for 3 days without getting more water or dumping waste. It must display the blue self-containment sticker and have: a toilet that can be used inside the vehicle even with the bed made up, fresh water storage, waste water storage, a rubbish bin with a lid
